Located within the private gates of Omni Amelia Island Resort, you'll be either an easy walk or a short drive to many activities located on Omni property, an ideal location for both a family getaway or while attending a conference at the hotel. Enjoy time in your private complex pool (unheated) when not lounging on the stretches of stunning beaches.  Visitors have access to the spa, shops and many restaurants within the resort. There are also other activities, such as the Nature Center and putt-putt miniature golf.  A 20 minute drive will take you to charming downtown Fernandina Beach where you can enjoy eclectic dining and shopping options.  Drummond Point Park, located on the northwest side of Omni Resort Property in the Sea Marsh community, this secluded park features several nature trails and walkways and boardwalks extending deep into the salt marshes. Drummond Point Park includes play areas for children, a pavilion with restrooms and glorious elevated views of the marshes, grills, picnic tables and water fountains, large open green space, and petanque and pickleball courts.  Beaches are accessed by walking (depending on rental location), biking, golf cart rental, or driving beyond the resort property to many nearby beach accesses or National Parks.
